1. What is club volleyball? ...Club volleyball most often refers to those teams that participate in USA Volleyball sanctioned tournaments. These teams are most often grouped into clubs under one admisitration. 2. Is everyone offered a spot after tryouts? ...NO not everyone is offered a spot. We try to accomodate as many as possible within our club but not everyone will be offered a spot. 3. Who do I contact for any questions regarding club volleyball? ...You may contact our Club Director, Art Aguirre, or just email info@rapidfirevolleyball.com as well. 4. When will tryouts be held for the upcoming season? ...Please look on our tryouts page for the latest on this. We usually do 2 days per age group. Keep checking back on our website for the latest info. 5. Is there room for new players on your teams? ...We never fill teams before tryouts. We have open tryouts every year and take the best kids we can on every team. 6. I had a bad experience at another club, how is yours different? ...If you went to a tryout and were not allowed to leave before committing to a team, if you were promised a spot and then not given one, or if you simply did not like the way you were treated... the only way to deal with that business is take your business elsewhere. We are very proud of our track record of honesty and character. We believe in treating people the way we'd like our own kids to be treated. 7. How much are the fees? ...This season we are offering 3 different levels of play with different price tags. Our travel teams will be $1400 for the season. We will also offer local teams as long as there's enough interest, the price for this team will be $850. Last but not least, we are offering our practice only program, the price is $125 per month. 8. How many players are on a team? ...The goal is to have 10 players per team. We try to have at least 8 to form a team and no more than 12. 9. How often do the teams practice? ...Our teams all practice twice a week minimum on non-tournament weeks, with some teams practicing 3 times depending on team needs and facility availability. | |||||||||||||
